Well, that looks awesome.
Did you basket weave the bacon before you cooked it or afterwards?

Before. Three strips of bacon cut in half, woven, then microwaved.

Downright mouthwatering! We're still a few weeks out before anything will be ripe enough to pick - I'm jealous!

I'm jealous, my tomatoes are only plum size now, got a while still to go. Some haven't even set fruit yet.

Looks downright yummy! I'm a "light on the mayo" person (actually I prefer Miracle Whip).

mmmm...maters. I've actually been putting guac on my BLTs lately, for that added kick. Oh, and a bit more mayo please for that delicious looking sammich!

It finally had more mayo (Duke's, of course) than shown. I didn't want it to squish out and mess up my photos - also plenty of freshly ground black pepper was added before it got eated.

A classy move with the bacon weave. Your BLT game is strong.

Bastage!
Can't wait for our 'maters to get there. We've got a ways to go yet.
Heck, even just a plain old 'mater sandwich sounds awesome about now - Duke's mayo, salt, pepper. I lived on those growing up!

Just put my San Marzanos in the raised beds yesterday. It'll be awhile.
I likely not even get any because I have to fight the friggin sparrows. I've contemplated poisoning the little bastards. Harsh yeah, but a guy's gotta eat.

Can't you put a net over the plants?

Tried that last year. Even built a PVC frame for the netting.
Marginal results.
They are aggravating little creatures. Tomatoes, apples, peaches, apricots.... They destroy them all.

Or even just a slice of good tomato with a dollop of mayo sprinkled with salt and dill weed. Come on, tomato season!
