This is a pretty good quality feed of a local Osprey nest. They originally were nesting in a light tower over the high school football field. The school was demolished to make way for a new school. The community, along with the local utility company, had this stand-alone platform built for the birds. The chicks are getting big and it looks like they can fly. We have a place on the lower Potomac. Osprey chicks have been flying down there for at least 3 weeks. Several nests that we pass when fishing, and one nest right on the boat dock.
