Which plate carrier? Login/Join

I'm about to pull the trigger on some plates and I was wondering which carrier? I'm looking for something that is high quality, full of features, comfortable (as comfortable as hard armor can be) and reasonable in price. I have been looking at the Sheelback and one from High Speed Gear. Is there any thing else that I should be looking at?

I have settled on Tactical Scorpion Gear III+ EXTREME plates, I feel it covers the threats that I may face and it's reasonably light and the price isn't bad at $239. per plate.

I have also invited in some steel Level III+ plates and a low profile carrier package. This will stay in my car, so I don't have to worry about heat, cold and rough handling. Total weight is 13lbs for steel and carrier, not bad.

The other is truly the go to, so I want quality. So a carrier that is high quality and reasonable in price would be nice. Price range under $300.00 would be nice.

Thanks for your time!

BDS tactical is supposed to be good stuff.

Bulletproofme.com has good prices on armor.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Mayflower/Velocity Systems Assault PC I have and couldn't be happier. Sits correctly and doesn't dig-in like some others I've worn.

Mayflower and velocity systems as mentioned.
ATS tactical AEGIS and the SKD BRIG are both good.

I have an Eagle Industries that I'm happy with. Also picked up an LBT6094 on a steal a few years ago that I'm super happy with.

I am using Paraclete

https://www.skdtac.com/Paracle...D-Spec-p/par.106.htm

It rides high on me (6' 230lb, long torso) but it is supposed to and is very comfy and fits well.
