That's the appeal of smaller CC bikes, to me. The CBR250RR is only 6 sec 0-60, about that same as my former Mercedes C300, but that redline makes up for the lack of straigtline speed. The Vulcan S I could push pretty hard without getting into felony territory. 10k P-Twin on that one, from the Ninja/Z 650. The Enemy's gate is down.

First song that came to my mind when I read the thread title. Love this song and band. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nSsWnPIIItM Back before kids, families, careers we had a pretty active group of bike and ATV riders, and seeing those pics reminds me of how much I miss it. Seeing the pics of the ATV and bike shoved in the back of the RAV 4 reminds me of a time we shoe-horned a Ducati into the back of a Cessna 206. A guy we knew had more motos than we could could count- filled his basement garage, motos in the living room, motos in the dining room etc.. We were having a motorcycle show at the airfield and he wanted to bring a few of his bikes to the show, so he flew a couple in and rode the others in. Took 5 of us to squeeze the bike into the cabin, and I didn't think it would fit, but it did with an inch or two to spare. But it was no fun getting it in and out, and I made sure I wasn't around when he wanted to load it back up for the trip home. As far as a bittersweet experience, a couple decades ago a fellow gun buddy hooked me up with a local deal with someone he knew selling a Steyr AUG. I was a little skiddish about the cost, but swallowed hard and committed to the deal. After completing the deal we agreed to go over to my friend's house to check out my new purchase. After feeling pretty good about my new aquisition he opens up his safe and starts handing me various guns. He would buy 'em, shoot 'em, and then a few weeks/ months later flip them. He put an IMI 392 in my hands and I was instantly smitten. After a couple hours of swapping between my new gun and his 392 he could see my dilemma and finally made the offer for a straight up trade. I agonized over the deal for another hour before agreeing to it. Bittersweet.
