I too thought fingerprint ID worked so well why mess with it/switch to Face ID. I was wrong! Now, Face ID works SO well I forget it is even working unnoticed in the background.

As far as those who must use a face mask... just try creating a second "face" with a mask on.

I created a second face for me on my wife's phone so I can pick hers up and use it seamlessly. I absolutely LOVE Face ID now.

Your driving down a back country road and you have a crash (like a tree falls on your vehicle or?) happens that messes up your face. Or maybe your pined in a position preventing you from getting the phone to your face.

Simple... You simply use your PIN code. You also have the option to not use either the fingerprint or the face ID at all and just use a PIN code all the time.
