Are the parks closed? Small group "Basic Training" type workouts are popular is some of the parks around here. Of course it would require more room than typical, but it's an option.

Planet Fitness has GINOURMOUS fans to circulate air. How about, instead of fans, a ventilation system that creates negative pressure to draw air upwards/downwards and out? This could minimize the threat of airborne spread of not just Corona virus but other maladies as well. Of course, wiping down equipment would still be crucial. Hopefully patrons are courteous and wipe down the equipment they use afterwards.

I have never encountered a gym owners forum but there are trade sites. They provide a little bit of information.

I should have been more specific, the state has shut down ALL gyms, we are looking for ways to get past that and still have classes outdoors or some way to reach/keep her clients busy until this passes

thanks, shawn

For spin classes you could host virtual rides.

Our local bike shop hosts them on BKool.com.

I use virtual bicycle riding with a road bike and a smart trainer. I then use BKool or Zwift to control the trainer.

You can also sponsor some walks outside, and calisthenics outside.

As long as social distancing is observed, I'd think maybe modeling something after military boot camp style exercises could work. Yoga also isn't a bad activity if you can sell the idea to the pure weight lifters. All kinds of group exercising out of doors is feasible as long as you have an outdoor area that isn't already crowded or hasn't been prohibited by local government.

I've been using a trainer from the gym since October. I took the last week off, but this week we're doing a virtual workout via FaceTime. It'll be bodyweight plus I have 5 lb thru 25 lb bands.

My main source of exercise is walking. With balance problems, and traffic hazards (no sidewalks in my neighborhood) I don't feel safe walking outside, so I joined Planet Fitness for ten bucks a month to use their treadmills.

No room for a treadmill in our small house, especially right now while major renovations and repairs are going on, so I'm not getting much exercise at all.

There is a spin studio in town that was forced to close. As a result, they rented out their spin bikes to members to take home and now do online classes.

My gym is being forced to close tomorrow. They it will be loaning out equipment ( not sire how that’s going to work) and putting workouts online and even doing some classes via Facebook live.

They are going to see about doing outdoor classes as well.
