North Texas hospital experiences
I'm looking for general experiential opinions on hospitals, most especially Collin county area. If possible with emphasis on cardiac care.

Basically, along with positive experiences, I'm looking for some insight mainly into facilities to avoid, frankly. There are some definite opinions out there and was wondering about opinions in the SF community.

Texas health Hospital in Allen took good care of me in their cardiac care unit for several weeks in 2023.

My Dad had bypass surgery at Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital in Plano. He had a good experience there and I recall being impressed with the facility. The individual rooms were huge and every person from doctors to food services staff used hand sanitizer when they entered/exited the room. You might say "that should be standard procedure" but that was not true at the hospital in Paris,TX were he initially went for treatment. That along with several others reasons, including a run in with the Cardiologist, prompted me and my step mother to take him to the Metroplex for surgery.

Baylor Centennial in Frisco seems to be better than other Baylor hospitals, which also are better than the other hospitals. Centennial really shines in the ER department. Wait times are a fraction of those in McKinney or Plano.
