Anyone with an inkling of history/geography and no axe to grind would realize that if the US hadn't expanded inward, the interior would have been ground zero for the Russians (NW), French (Canada/Louisiana), British (Canada) and Spanish (Florida/Mexico) to meet in the middle and battle it out. Think 'French and Indian War', takes 2 through 22.
And, the Europeans were not shy about 'recruiting' colonial troops for their European battles. WWI and WWII had French and British colonials in the firing lines.
TL: DR Here in the real world, absent the US, their lands would have been ground zero for European wars, and they'd have found themselves turned into cannon-fodder for Europe's battles elsewhere.
President Jefferson's hope for the territories gained in the Louisiana Purchase was that the Indians would basically own their nations there. Americans would establish robust trade with the Indians, and would in small controlled numbers travel within Indian country to engage in the trade and dvelop valuable resources. Military outposts would exist under cooperative agreements with the Indians, to keep the French and English out.
He grossly misjudged the anarchy at the frontier (Mississippi river), and the inability to control men seeking fortune in the west. Still, it is a valid point that many Americans, including government leaders, were not rapacious genocidal exploiters.
Ultimately, superior culture and technology won out. As it always has and always will.

shovelhead“Power and privilege” of my whiteness?
I still remember Affirmative Action in the 70’s and being turned down for employment because of my whiteness.

IndianaDaveThe scary part is that a lot of people believe this garbage that White is bad. The absolute worst are these insane liberal white women. I've got a cousin who is a "true believer" and i avoid her so i am not tempted to slap the shit out of her.

ftttuMinorities living anywhere are going to blame the ones they see in power, ESPECIALLY if there are race-baiters like here.
I don’t curse, but I give you lefty nutties a BIG “FARG YOU!!!” You continue to enslave our fellow citizens with your evil drivel for power, prestige, and for pure evil!
A great mane who was born a slave and who rose to council presidents says this: “There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs - partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” Booker T. Washington

At dinner yesterday, I paused for a moment to reflect on the native Americans who once lived and hunted on this land. And I considered that if they'd fought harder, some white dude wouldn't have been eating turkey and drinking an Old Fashioned in what used to be their back yard.
There's absolutely a lesson there, but I'm pretty sure it's not "White folks are evil."

rscalzoResearch on a “whiteness pandemic” from experts at the University of Minnesota
that was published years ago received attention from Fox News this week. It was featured in a “first on Fox” feature under a “campus radicals” header.
“The Whiteness Pandemic Behind The Racism Pandemic: Familial Whiteness Socialization in Minneapolis
Following #GeorgeFloyd’s Murder” was published in the American Psychologist journal around three years ago. Today, the University of Minnesota Institute of Child Development Culture and Family Life Lab still includes information about this “whiteness pandemic” on its website.
No idea how the university is even connected to the article.
