I would tend to agree, but there is Madow.

Great news indeed!

I would guess than one of the factors taken into consideration in cancelling her vile and wretched show, was that msnbc did not want to expose themselves to the very real risk of successfully being sued for defamation, slander and lying (which the racist shit-bag joy reid does constantly) like ABC and CBS did for between $10 million and $20 million dollars.

"An audio recording of the meeting about the leak was subsequently leaked to the media."

The new president of MSNBC, Rebecca Kutler, held an unplanned virtual meeting with Joy Reid’s staff after the show’s cancellation was leaked to the media.

An audio recording of the meeting about the leak was subsequently leaked to the media.

The recording was obtained by former CNN reporter Oliver Darcy, who wrote, “Staffers expressed frustration and disbelief, outraged that they had learned of their show’s fate from reports in the press rather than leadership. Others demanded answers about the reasoning behind the cancellation of “The Reidout” and what it meant for their futures at the network.”

According to the report, Kutler confirmed that “the entire staff had been laid off” but would receive severance pay through April. She also encouraged them to apply for other jobs within the company.

Darcy reports:

Despite MSNBC’s assurances that new roles will be available, staffers exited the meeting shaken. The shock of learning about their show’s fate, married with uncertainty about what comes next, spurred significant frustration with MSNBC brass—which came through during the Sunday meeting.

While Kutler pointed to the more than 100 new jobs being posted this week as a sign of hope for the staffers, for those who have worked on “The ReidOut,” the meeting drove home a difficult reality: Their show is over, and their future at the progressive network is not certain.

Though Kutler was apologetic about how they learned about their lost jobs, staff remained outraged and said it was a “terrible, terrible way to learn about our fate.”

Darcy said Kutler also insisted that “Donald Trump was not a factor” in the show’s termination.

Kutler was asked if Trump’s position on the network factored in to the cancellation and she replied, “No, it did not.”

Trump accuses MSNBC of 'unpardonable sin' as he dances on grave of Joy Reid after show cancellation

By MELISSA KOENIG FOR DAILYMAIL.COM
PUBLISHED: 00:03 EST, 24 February 2025 | UPDATED: 02:41 EST, 24 February 2025

President Donald Trump demanded MSNBC pay restitution for 'damaging' the nation and branded host Joy Reid a 'mentally obnoxious racist' after learning her show had been canceled.

The move to fire Reid was announced on Sunday, prompting Trump to lash out at the liberal network amid a months-long ratings dip that led to a frantic staff realignment in a desperate attempt to stay relevant.

The embattled network faced its lowest-rated January in history in the highly sought-after 25-54 demographic, which is of great importance to advertisers due to the group's spending power.

Trump began his broadside of MSNBC by referring to Brian Roberts, the head of its parent company Comcast, as the 'Lowlife Chairman of "Concast."'

'The owner of ratings challenged NBC and MSDNC has finally gotten the nerve up to fire one of the least talented people in television, the mentally obnoxious racist, Joy Reid,' Trump posted on his Truth Social page.

'Based on her ratings, which were virtually non-existent, she should have been "canned" long ago, along with everyone else who works there.'

Trump then cited a litany of fellow hosts he felt deserved his derision, including Al Sharpton and Rachel Maddow. The latter, the president claimed, 'rarely shows up because she knows there's nobody watching and she also knows that she's got less television persona than virtually anyone on television except, perhaps, Joy Reid.'

'This whole corrupt operation is nothing more than an illegal arm of the Democrat Party,' Trump added.

'They should be forced to pay vast sums of money for the damage they've done to our country. Fake News is an UNPARDONABLE SIN!'

Demanded? DEMANDED?? Who the hell are these nobodies to demand anything from their employer? I know leftists live in a different world where they feel their outrage and entitlement ensures answer, but the nerve! Their angst is absolutely delicious.

Looks like halfway or more through the second page and nobody has posted the Seinfeld “That’s a shame.”, the Top Gear guy’s “Well Anyway” or any similar meme. Nope, the bitch is toast and everyone is just flat out cheering without a nod to even pretending it’s sad. She won’t be reading the thread, but I hope that she is exposed to a similar collection of responses somewhere else. She is a toxic bitch and it’s good that she’s gone. I say that never having watched her anywhere but in the few seconds of clips posted here that I was able to tolerate before stopping the video.

She needs to be forever known as RACIST Joy Reid.

My parents, god bless them, watch NBC/MSNBC and every once in a while when I come around, Reid is on the screen...and she's spouting racist rhetoric. Everything coming out of her mouth was about castigating anybody that was white, sometimes Asian and particularly male as the focus of all the ills and problems to society; she started to include Hispanic men post-election. Every direction she went, every discussion that was held, every pointed word or, even a slight, was layered with racial disparagement. I'm amazed that she continued to hold a job and was kept on-air. Now that she's no longer, it will be interesting to see if internal docs, memos and texts start to pour out on how she maintained her position there.
