Actually I wanted something light to carry for incidental varmint control. I have the Ruger LCR in .22mag that I got from a member here but it's hammerless so the trigger is pretty heavy and the sights are rudimentary at best. Haviong seen your projects in the past, I'm sure we are in for a treatL G44 22LR turns into a 1911 pattern 50AE with just a few little tweaks!
