Try these.

I bought one pair for just travel purposes (they are a tad expensive) but they work well.

Just got home finally and just now checked my accounts again. looks like the hit the foot locker on canal street right around the time I was cancelling cards. They made 2 purchases 2 minutes apart totaling right at 800 dollars. Wished I could have caught those fingers and broken them! I called them in to my CC company and called the PD to update my report.

Sorry they hit you. I had to go down to New Orleans Saturday to deliver some meds. It was by the Zoo so I got out pretty easy and didn't have to go where all the tourist are.

The shorts and the long pants look nice. Most of the time around here I pocket CZ arry a 938. How do those pockets work for getting one out and are they deep enough?

I have been doing some reading on traveling, going to Europe on Friday. The professional pickpockets work crowded areas and will even work in teams to create choke points that you have to squeeze thru where they lift your wallet. The pick pocket proof pants look good but they are all sold out right now.

I have a few SIGs.

I sympathize. In Paris, France a number of years ago, I rode the Metro and a huge crowd of young people (more than 20) got on at one stop, forcing me and the others already on board to make way for them. They all got off at the next stop and my wallet went with them. I reported the theft to the Paris Police right away, of course, and notified the issuers of my 2 credit/debit cards. Within 30 minutes more than $900 had been charged to one card and before the day was over the total had risen to $1700. It seems that some businesses in Paris don't bother to require proof of identification when accepting card charges--in effect, the city is full of legal "fences". My fraudulent charges were forgiven by the card issuers, so I wasn't really out any money, but I had to go through the inconvenience of getting all my ID, etc. reissued. Imagine my surprise when, about a month later, after my return home, my wallet came back to me in the mail (postage due), with all ID intact--only the credit cards and cash were missing! I guess the thieves just threw the wallet into the Paris mail system when they were through with it.

I checked those out and found them to be too heavy and not very attractive.
I ended up getting these jeans from ExOfficio, the three hidden pockets worked great for my uses, plus good looking dark denim; ended up getting two more. I don't carry a fat wallet but the hidden zip-pocket in the right rear would work well for those that do. Wished they came in a relaxed fit, I'm in-between a standard and relaxed so, big-leg guys beware.

I've also been kicking the tires on picking up a pair of these jeans from Aviator.

Bluffworks makes very stylish travel pants out of technical fabric with zippered pockets that you can wear anywhere:

I also picked up at Amazon a travel wallet that hangs IWB by loops around your belt. Very comfortable and secure:

They were only useful when you were escaping a third-world dictatorship, where you've been beat up by the local cops, your hotel room has been ransacked and you're trying to bribe your way onto the last flight out. Otherwise those belts made you look foolish at the register, as the line behind you looked in amusement or, frustration as you fumbled, then eventually loosened up the belt for more cash.

Looking ahead, my new cards are coming in. Instead of signing the back, one of my friends writes in the signature block, "Please Check ID". I've seen her use it and they always ask. Anyone else do this? It may work with an honest clerk, but I'm betting in my case, the clerk that rang up two charges in 2 minutes totaling 800 bucks was complicit. I called that store and asked the manager what they purchased and she wouldn't tell me. I had the vibes that she knew all about it.

I was in Italy when a guy had his wallet lifted from his front trouser pocket (jeans).

Need to wrap a couple of rubber bands around it so it’s grabby.

Guy looked at me like I took it, poor sod.

Always be wary and don’t let folks near.

They are, but belly bands aren't bad depending on the circumstances. I just spend 2 weeks in London then Italy. I kept a few GBPs and EUROs in my pocket, then my passport, extra cash, and credit card went in to the belly band. No concerns of being pick pocketed.

If you plan ahead you could leave a little cash in your front pocket and the majority in your belt.Takes a little common sense I know.

I do that on my cards. Maybe once a year or so, if that often, I get asked for ID. Funny thing is, one of the cards, the one that I use in restaurants, has my photo right below the signature panel. So when I am asked for ID, I just hold the card up, right next to my handsome face (ugly mug?).
