I am looking for a yellow female English lab with full registration. I plan on conformation shows and hunt trials. If you know someone let me know. Most breeders sell with limited registration only. Rather give my money to a fellow member.

Thanks Jim

If there isn’t a member. My brother has purchased 2 from Wild Rose in MS. Both are amazing dogs

Might contact Double T British Kennels near Sylvia KS. He's been in that business a long time.

I’m missing something. I know about silver, black, yellow, white and chocolate labs, but after looking at the photos at the Wild rose website, I can’t tell the difference between an English lab and the one we’re raising. Someone explain the difference for me please.

English labs are smaller in stature and lighter, obviously.

We had a black English lab who weighed 60lbs -65lbs in her adult life. Smart as hell.

American labs have broader chests and run in the 85-120lb range.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Our labs are obese just like a large portion of the population. Male labs should be 65-80lbs and females 55-70lbs.

I’m always the last to learn good to know information. I would’ve preferred one of the smaller sized English labs.
Our American lab girl is now 8 months old and a very trim, but hefty 76 pounds!

IMO, the English Labrador is a beautiful animal. Broad chest, short stocky legs, and lighter overall weight vs his American counterpart. I prefer the ones with the thicker heads to the more slightly build heads on some of them.

Wild Rose has a solid reputation, and I've treated several of their dogs. Some of them look like a million bucks, some you can't tell from a backyard breeder's dog. However, they've all been smart as a whip.

Actually it was my impression it is just the opposite that the English are the stocky breed and american leaner.
Both my labs were rather trim ( looked a lot like a Dalmatian or German shorthair pointer body type wise)

We got our recently departed sweet girl Remy from Snow Ridge Kennels in Georgetown, KY. https://snowridgelabradors.com/

She came from great bloodlines. Her father was Ringo, who is featured on their website. She was the smartest and sweetest dog we've had. She did have an obsession with shoes and paper, and she shed like it was her job.
