Fails in its basic premise-me moving quicky with a backpack. Or me, moving quickly.

As someone who has done more than his share of climbing and high altitude mountaineering - I could not imagine trying to maintain any degree of balance with the center of gravity changing on the pack with every movement. That pack is designed for someone who walks on flat surfaces and/or posers - not a hiker/climber that has to negotiate varied terrains and steep inclines/declines. If you want to check out legit, lightweight packs with real frames and harness systems - look this guy up. http://mchalepacks.com/ultralight/index.htm
