I’m another one who opted for Latin over Spanish. I took it in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Did very well in it and it helped a lot with English, but I sure wish now I’d have taken Spanish instead — been living in Tucson, Arizona, since 2001 when I got stationed here at DMAFB. Spanish would be very useful here!

I just retired for the 2nd time (this time for good) so now I will have the time to learn it.

I had a similar experience. Got out after my first term, finished my 4-year degree (only had a year left), took the AFOQTC and was awaiting OCS appointment. I got cold feet and took a Sales job in the medical field.

Curious - you mentioned EOD School. Were you a K9 handler? (I was Security - LE Specialist)
