Are there any wild boar hunters out here?
A few years back.
.41 magnum. 2 shots at distance of about 6 feet.

Yep. The big guy cut him. They used monofilament and superglue to patch him up.

It's interesting to me that, until reading through this thread, I'd never read or heard of hogs being hunted in the snow.

That is hardcore...but a good reminder of what can happen on a hunt and what we should be prepared to do. I hope that hunting buddy made a complete recovery.
