Wow! What do you use to hunt them with? I've traveled 119 miles of beaches and never seen one in my life. Are they hard to bring down? How do they taste?
I'll Second wacha got. I'm no expert but my daughter and I have taken a few with bow and gun over the years. The pic with both of the boars on the deck taken with Bow within 45 minutes of each other.
FF to 3 minutes I'm shooter on left daughter on right

We have used bow, .223, 30/30, 270. Boars are not tasty.

Aren't they aggressive? I heard they have charging issues, like a freight train. They don't exist anywhere along the Jersey shore, nor inland that I ever heard of.
I haven't had the chance. But it's certainly on my list of things to do.

They can be when they feel trapped or are wounded. I have never had one charge me after shooting it

I heard they are pretty nasty. I like the rig I could have used that during Super Storm Sandy and the skull is even cooler, to scare away the seagulls!
My buddy was chopper hunting them in Texas, he said it was harder than you think to get one down. And for the money he spent he could have bought meat for 3 years.
