During the past week I have had some issues with this TV. It will automatically lower the volume and change inputs. I took the batteries out of the remote, and it still happens. I have also unplugged the TV for a minute to "reset" it.
The problems still seem to pop up.
Has anyone else experienced such issues ?

I've had it happen before with my Samsung TV, but the problem went away. Might be a good idea to hook the TV to internet and have it check for updates.

I'd be real careful even posting anywhere about this. They might start sending HKs after you.

Somebody else, nearby, is transmitting on the same frequency (ie, a neighbor has the same brand tv)

So far, the only trouble I have with my LG is it wont connect to the intergoogle when I first turn it on. Then it wont accept a PW until I unplug it and re-plug it in. Happens ever couple of weeks.

My Samsung's only problem is that it'll randomly 'quit' the streaming app I'm using, mid episode, & go back to the home screen. Has only happened 4 or 5 times in over a year, so not overly worried about it.

I've a 42" Samsung smart TV that's going into the man cave. It will not be connected to the Internet, except intermittently to the guest WiFi network to check for firmware updates.
I will not be using any included apps nor installing any apps on it. I'll hook a streaming device to it (FireTV, Android TV or Apple TV) and use that.

Your issues are probably caused by a TV feature called CEC; Consumer Electronic Control. This feature senses and identifies HDMI connected input devices (cable box, Blu Ray, Roku, etc.) and switches input to that device when the input device is powered up. It also allows the TV remote to control basic functions on the connected device. The "new" input will have a startup volume associated with it, thus the volume change. IMO, CEC is a pesky feature. On my new TCL Roku, CEC and ARC (Audio Return Channel) are co-dependent; can't switch off the pesky CEC without killing the vital ARC. Hisense Manuals. 3 - 42" are listed. Read up on CEC and ARC.This message has been edited. Last edited by: cne32507,

I've experienced the volume changing with the Hisense. All of a sudden the volume is very low and you have to go change an audio settting.

Many wish that were true.
But those that "stayed at the Holiday Inn" ruined that period.

My Apple TV remote will change the input on my 9 year old Panasonic television but otherwise doesn't affect it at all.
