My present iPhone 10 needs replacing, and I am intrigued by the new smartphone that is supposedly going to be introduced by Elon Musk's Tesla brand. All I can find is speculation from questionable sources on the internet, no credible info is available about the release date, availability of the phones, price, etc. Do you folks have any credible info about the Tesla PI smartphone? Thanks in advance. -Sid If you think you can, YOU WILL!!!!!

TTBOMK, Musk making his own smartphone was only a threat to discourage Google and Apple from removing the Twitter app from their app stores. I've seen nothing to suggest an actual design, much less production, is in the works. "America is at that awkward stage. All those Pi phone videos on YouTube are just copied from a fan created vision of a Tesla phone. They are not based on reality and there is no Tesla phone in the works. These go to eleven.

Do you need a Supercharger to charge it?

I'm sure the phone, if ever actually offered, will be fine re-branded Korean or Taiwan Android model. The solar charging pack that comes with it will be a bitch to carry around! Maybe built in to a backpack and/or hat?

Thanks for letting me know the real story about Musk's alleged phone So, looks like I will have to go get a iPhone 14 sometime next week, even though I quite like the idea of a Tesla phone. Ah, one can dream, cant we? Thanks. Ensigmatic - I will email you later today. -Sid If you think you can, YOU WILL!!!!!
