calugoLivengrin Ride For Recovery Sunday 28 June 2020
I've never seen this type of post before so I hope I'm not violating any rules by starting this thread.
This Sunday June 28th is the Levingrin Ride for Recovery, I'm sure few have heard of this organization unless you live near Philadelphia, PA. In a nutshell Levingrin is a Drug Treatment Facility that is doing great things providing treatment for those caught up in drug or alcohol addiction. I've supported this ride in the past and since it's a virtual ride this year because of Covid-19 anyone anywhere can participate.
Here is the webpage for Livengrin if you want to know more about the organization:
www.livengrin.orgHere is the link for registering for the virtual ride which can be done on a motorcycle or car. The goal is to recognize essential businesses such as police/fire stations, restaurants, hospitals/urgent care facilities etc. Click on the registration link to find out more details.
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/v...Py_gdkTRthM05k96s51QThere's a drug addiction epidemic nationwide and everyday thousands of people are dying daily from drug overdoses. Anyone can become a victim of drug/alcohol addiction and these people are someone's father or mother, son or daughter, husband or wife and while some have made bad decisions that doesn't mean they should be abandoned.
Please share the link with anyone you feel may want to support this worthwhile event.
