why didn't the Israelis? The entire country had a popular uprising demanding western values, a stiff wind could have toppled the mullahs if regime change was their hearts desire. Instead they sat on their hands opposed to engaging in place Mossad assets.

Sure, Our own intelligence, that being the two largest, effective, and well funded agencies on the planet, (NSA and CIA) said they're not after nukes.
And upholding a treaty doesn't mean it's all sunshine and rainbows in Iran but in a single direction with a single issue organization and that focus being "lets not use nuclear weapons, ever" and that organization is saying Iran is in compliance. Where as the Israelis refuse to join said organization, or permit any kind of inspectors into their nuclear program or facilities. has been saying for, as you can see above, years Iran wants nukes! Never you mind what we're doing in the Negev.
