Does anyone have any recommendations on a power adjustable bed frame? I am looking for a split king where each side is controlled separately. Right now I am looking at the frame only not part of a mattress/frame combo.

I found that there wasn't much difference between brands of frames, just slightly different feature packages. Many "store brands" were the same as offered by Sealy and Serta but with different tags.

We started with a basic adjustable Queen foundation that was nice, but my wife and were finding we had different positions for comfort. We now have the "Power Sleep Retreat" split-king from Jordan's furniture stores, got it as part of the bundle when we bought our Mattresses.

The reasons I went with my choice were I prefer the feet to raise up first, to prevent you from sliding down when the head raises. This model also has the head support that tilts the pillow up to reduce snoring. The remote has 2 memory sets, as well as the pre-set Zero-G setting.

I would have liked if I could have the option of selecting the other frame from my remote (handy for making the beds, or if the other person is snoring) but it hasn't been a big regret to pass on the extra cost of that feature.

Other features we like over previous adjustable bases are the lower "valance" around the edge, just a better look than without it. The under-bed lights we use a lot more than we ever expected to, but the USB ports are hardly ever used.
