Traded my V6 AWD 2019 Durango in for a 2020 Charger V6 AWD. The Durango was trouble free. The Charger has been too. AWD works well in snow and would work even better with winter tires. Charger runs great, has paddle shifting, Track Pack and Launch Control. I considered buying the Hemi, but after driving the the 300HP V6, I saw no need. Bonus: The Charger does not have auto stop/start, which I hate. All the tech in the car works well. So far, so good. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I have my teenage son in a 2018 V6 Challenger. We have had the car in the family for about 25,000 miles. It was used with 18,000 miles on the odometer when we got it. No problems with the car, including he drivetrain which I believe is identical to the V6 Charger. ______________________________ “I'd like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy and complaining people who think the world owes them a living.” ― John Wayne

How long will you be keeping it? Even simple maintenance on the Traverse is needlessly difficult, and major engine work (you may not need it, but trust me, they do, especially if you don't change the oil) is a nightmare.

Not the V6, but I have a 2018 Durango for work. It's a pretty good vehicle...has been comfortable and reliable. It is pretty nimble for an SUV and has a good turning radius...I've chased people down on bikes and on foot with it before, and they gave up after realizing that it could follow them places where they didn't think it could go. The Hemi makes pretty good power, although I know you're looking at a v6...but from what I hear that motor is also pretty decent for being short 2 cylinders. I also like that you can switch the eco and sport modes on or off with the press of a button, and the car remembers your setting, even after a cold start. There have been exactly 2 problems with it in the last 38,000 miles: When brand new, the trunk latch handle stopped working. Turns out it's computerized, and somehow it stopped communicating with the BCM. They replaced the handle under warranty and all was good. The Uconnect entertainment system has started randomply freezing up when you start the car...about 20% of the time. You can turn it off, but nothing else works. When on, it will play the last radio station it was on at the volume it was set to...that's it. And this is a problem, because there are a lot of other controls integrated into that screen (like my cell-phone, which since this summer I'm no longer allowed to hold in my hand while driving, thanks to some do-gooder politicians). The only way to reset it is to shut the car off for about 10 minutes and then start it again. The only other complaints I have about it are job-related (idiotic console shifter takes up too much space on the console and ought to be on the column, and the seats suck for a duty belt, but are just fine without one).

Durango, Charger, Traverse in my inexperienced opinion on the three. We looked briefly at the Traverse a few years ago, and came away unimpressed. Neighbor has a Durango & she loves it. The Enemy's gate is down.

My RAM had similar issues with the UConnect system. Turns out the fix was to not connect the phone through it. I just used the phone on a holder and hit the speaker button to use it hands-free. Since then it's been trouble free.

Our 2017 Challenger has the V6, and it has some balls, more than we need. Trying to get out in traffic makes the tires break loose. No complaints yet. _________________________________________________ "Once abolish the God, and the Government becomes the God." --- G.K. Chesterton

That does kinda make sense because I never used it before they changed the law, and had no problems until after I started doing so. Still wish they'd fix it...or at least provide a way to reboot the thing so it will reset without having to shut off the car.

2020 Traverse LT Cloth AWD here as my work issued ride. I'm no Chevy guy but I actually like it. Ride is good, plenty of room (I'm a big guy at 278lbs). I put 36K miles on it in 2020. I'm averaging around 22mpg, about 28 when doing long trips at 70mph and if I slow it down to 55mph I can get about 32-34mpg. My only complaint is the infotainment system. It occasionally locks up and won't let you do anything. Have to shut the car off, open the door wait a minute and restart. The dealer has done multiple software updates, it's fine for a few weeks then does it again. One co-worker has a Durango and I didn't find it nearly as comfortable as my Traverse. My company currently offers it's field service Employees the Traverse, Durango or Chrysler Pacifica. Glad I went with the Traverse. Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six
