gjgalliganPilot lights in heating apparatus
I have a small workshop built in an out building that has a wall furnace with a standing pilot light in it. It certainly isn't a high efficiency piece of heating equipment.
I also have a vent-less heater, also standing pilot, that was given to me. I use the vent-less for regular use but kept the wall furnace as backup as well and as the occasional fast heat-up.
Question is:should I leave the the pilots lit in the summer time?
My thought are the pilot with prevent moisture in the units.
