St. Louis U. High, Class of 1983

Approximately 260

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

That's nearly as many people lived in the town I grew up in.

Class of 1966, 235 grads, all boys.

All but 6 went on to college (it was a so-called "college-prep HS").

Of the 6, 4 were killed in Viet Nam within the next couple years, one died about 15 years ago, I believe due to Agent Orange exposure.

136, in 2004. We only had one elementary, intermediate, and high school, so it was mostly the same group of kids for all 12 years.

When I was a Freshman it was going to be 24, but the school district reorganized in my Sophomore year and when I graduated it was 128. Would have much preferred to have been the group I grew up with.
