I got to stay up until 10:00 on a school night, one night a week; I used it to watch The Fugitive.
Liked American Bandstand too; Dick Clark had some great acts on his show. Later, when I could stay up later, Johnny Carson.

I watched a lot of cartoons as a young kid, but really enjoyed The Wild Kingdom, Hee haw, Cannon, It takes a theif and shows like that. But my favorite was The Rockford Files. He had a nice firebird, a good looking lawyer. I liked how he got stiffed by a lot of his clients and a steady diet of ass whoopings. I have just started to watch it again on Amazon prime. Brings back a lot of memories.

Closing in on 70 pretty quickly, so MY kid shows were from the 1950's.
Our Gang or as many of You may call them The Little Rascals
Abbot and Costello
Laurel and Hardy
Of course....The Three Stooges.

As far as TV shows Cowboy shows were hugely popular; Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel, Bonanza, Cheyenne, Wanted Dead or Alive, etc.

Riptide used to be filmed on the street I lived on in Redondo Beach in the 80s.
Jonnie Socko and his Giant Robot and Ultraman were great in the 60s

Sat. mornings I’d start off with tv westerns (as already posted) then on to cartoons, stooges, Laura & Hardy and Amos & Andy.
Nighttime was mom & dad’s time. We watched Gangbusters, Boston Blackie, the Naked City, Racket Squad, Hawaiian Eye, Peter Gunn, Perry Mason, the Outer Limits, Twilight Zone & Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Lord knows it was great!

I was just watching some cartoons with my son the other day. For the most part they sucked, but the Star Wars cartoon on Disney Plus was pretty cool.
I was thinking to myself, about the cartoons that I watched were way better. Specifically Mask, GI Joe and Thundercats. I showed him some YouTube clips. He dug Mask the most.

Wow, this brings back memories!
Star Trek was my weekly exception to school-night bedtime. It's amazing how that one held up over the years.
Space 1999 - I had forgotten about that one until a couple years ago when I caught it on late night TV. That and Buck Rogers of about the same era.
Loved the sci-fi-ish ones - Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc. Also interesting to see how often Shatner and Nimoy were on Twilight Zone.
Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet. - Dave Barry

MTV. Not a show per se, but at the time (early to mid 80's) it's all I needed. 24/7/365.
