Tankless or 75 gallon Tank Natural Gas Hot Water Heater
our first experience with tankless was in Germany, We loved it! For all the reasons others have stated here.

The house we bought in upstate NY had tankless, that ran on heating oil through the main furnace.

No problem with it.

We had to replace out water heater here a few years ago but had (still do not) no access to natural gas, and we didn't want the issues with heating oil for water heating.

Given the availability of gas, we would switch in short order.
