With all these train derailments lately, maybe get that XL pipeline back on the list too.

Well, it's nice to see, but it won't go anywhere. The Senate is not guaranteed to approve it, and the President will surely veto it. I doubt that either house of Congress could override. It is an indication that the House Republicans are serious in executing their promises, though.

I don't think it's an indication of anything. Just like the Democrats file all kinds of gun control bills when they are in the minority, but somehow never manage to pass any when they have the power (including when they had the White House and a veto proof majority in Congress in the Obama years.). Almost everything that happens in DC is theater. It's cheap red meat for the base to pass bills in the House knowing they will go nowhere in the Senate. When the GOP had power in the Senate and House during the Trump years, they accomplished next to nothing.

Maybe I'm jaded, but color me unimpressed with their efforts.

That may be true, but I still think it's a worthy endeavor. If the Republicans in the House AND Senate vote for passage of this bill, and the Democrats & Biden scuttle it/veto it, all the while the price of energy has DOUBLED and Americans are struggling financially, maybe a majority of voters will ultimately recognize the reality of where the Democrats stand...And quite clearly where they stand is that they Hate America, and they Hate Americans!
