"Age does not bring wisdom. Often it merely changes simple stupidity into arrogant conceit. It's only advantage, so far as I have been able to see, is that it spans change. A young person sees the world as a still picture, immutable. An old person has had his nose rubbed in changes and more changes and still more changes so many times that that he knows it is a moving picture, forever changing. He may not like it--probably doesn't; I don't--but he knows it's so, and knowing is the first step in coping with it."

Honest question. In a place like Brazil, do you think she called the cops or just, normal tuesday night, walked home and reloaded her mag quietly vaguely annoyed that she'd probably need to go buy another box of ammo at some point?

She probably made or helped with dinner, helped the kids with their homework, and told a few bed time stories to the kids, etc. The bed time stories might have been a bit more interesting.
She shot at the rider first, which makes sense as that is who usually has the gun out. She probably hit him 2 or 3 times, plus possibly one more as he ran off to the left.
2 or 3 hits at close range, from a talented shooter, I doubt he ran far. There is something about a pony tail swinging around, as she quickly takes them out, that makes her extremely attractive.
