Registered Magnum with "game scene" engraving
Youtube video with 5 S&W Registered Magnums that were auctioned by RIA in 2023, and at the 4:55 mark the engraving is described as a "game scene" Anybody else notice something odd about describing the engraving as a "game scene?"

Oh lord those are some beautiful revolvers. The man describing them however is difficult at best to listen to. He stresses so many words he sounds like he’s trying to sell vacuum cleaners on the home shopping network. Phil Schreier should have done the presentation.

It is hard to tell. It looks like the rider is shooting a fox, while riding away from it.

Looks to me that he's shooting at a man chasing him in a canoe. The engraver's view of castle doctrine doesn't seem to require a mandate to flee if possible before shooting. I'm thinking a man on a horse isn't real threatened by someone actively paddling toward him in a canoe.

Maybe the shooting on horseback and canoeing are just outdoor activities being depicted, not actually shooting at the man in the canoe? I think he's shooting at the man in the canoe.

An engraving depicting shooting at a man who doesn't seem to be an immediate threat is already nuts, but describing it as a "game scene" just takes it over the top.

Screenshot from the video in the OP, cropped and rotated a bit for clarity:

Unless there's an alligator sneaking up behind the Native American canoeing that the horesman is trying to save him from...yeah, I don't see game in this scene, either.

Maybe there are a limited type of descriptions of engraving types, and it must fit into one of them. Maybe any engraving that has any depictions of outdoor shooting is referred to as "game scene" engraving. If that is the case, it might be good to come up with another engraving style to prevent calling shooting at humans and calling them game, which likely wasn't intended.
