That about explains it. Is it because my bowser is out of date? I hope updating won't cause other issues. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Might check your browser security settings? Sometimes if they’re set too high certain attachments won’t load.

What browser are you using?

I'll echo the "try a different browser" recommendation. I currently have all of Safari, Brave, Firefox, and Chrome open and showing web pages, all of them with multiple tabs. I also have Opera installed should I need it. Yes, some of them render certain pages and images more reliably than others, but there is no consistency as to which is "best." Seems to have more to do with page content than the particular browser.

I will check the security settings, but I haven't changed anything. This just started happening about a week ago.

Current browser is Safari version 11.1.2

Reset your cache. Close but not quit browser. Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Manage Website Data -> Remove All -> Remove All (again if they did not all clear) -> Command + Q (to quit Safari) -> Restart

As it was explained to me: Cache stores the data of websites that we often visit and so when the websites update sometimes those cache tend to load the old and unupdated versions. - Ysabelle, wordpress.com
