Overall a non-event. Mild weather, decent number of people out. Just a "normal" weekend night for us. | |||

Only had one case yesterday, but went in today for an 8 O'clock start and just got home, so I'm tired and forgot it was new years day. ___________________________ He looked like an accountant or a serial-killer type. Definitely one of the service industries. | |||

Well no one actually pointed a gun at us last night but we did get the hell out of Dodge pretty quick on one call last night. Outside of that all pretty routine stuff. __________________________ Writing the next chapter that I've been looking forward to. | |||

It was quiet until 0200, then the first homicide of the year. Beats last year by 3 hours. ______________________________ Men who carry guns for a living do not seek reward outside of the guild. The most cherished gift is a nod from his peers. | |||

Did about 6 hours last night working, troubleshooting. No big deal. It’s one night and it goes by fast and don’t care about holidays anymore. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone | |||

Trip started off on the wrong foot…ULTRA foggy at IAH this morning. Our inbound bird had to divert to DFW. After waiting a couple of hours and no show on that bird, got swapped to a new airframe. Departed IAH 3 1/2 hours late…made for a tiring day. 3:48AM van mañana… "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Shit night. Coworker sitting in a parking lot heard something hit the top of his car then something hit his neck. Stray round came down, punctured his roof and hit his neck. Didn’t break his skin. Rest of night was shit as well in the ghetto.    Not minority enough! | |||
