A time total lunar eclipse is underway in the US and Western Hemisphere. It’s partial now (11 PM EST) but will be total beginning at 11:41 and stay that way for about an hour. This will be the blood full moon since it will have a reddish cast during the total eclipse due to the sun’s rays refracting through the Earth’s atmosphere.
