| Love a happy ending. Too bad it wasn't two dead BG's.

You know, it's like a trusted family pet. Will snuggle up with you the couch while you're watching a movie with the wife and kids, but will also rip the balls off of an intruder if asked of it.

| Given its Chicago, the land of zero constitutional rights, might I suggest a rather heavy, blunt, object be applied in such an encounter.

No shit. If I was a bugler I'd stay away from any house displaying a US flag. At my work when I approach a house and see Old Glory flying I think I'll probably get along with homeowners, works out to be true in 80-90% of cases. People who are patriotic are better people. Does that make me a nationalist (which for some reason is a disparaging term)?

| Something like this happened to me once- sort of... Knock on my door. I open the door. Two guys standing on my porch. Can I help you? Closest guy says one word, "Yeah", and proceeds to walk in. I instantly go into alert mode (this is before I owned firearms, but I did know martial arts). I'm about to deliver a nice karate punch, but a voice inside me said, "Make sure, first". Whoa, what are you guys doing? Oh, isn't this the apartment? No, that's next door. Oh man, sorry. They went next door and by their converation they actually were scoping out a new rental. Make sure before you drop that hammer. |

| I seen that. Sounds like they may have known the victim. I read it was somewhere in Kentucky or Tennessee though. Could be wrong. At least the family is ok. |

| "Finnan told investigators after his arrest that Brodacz claimed he saw $200,000 cash in boxes in the home 20 years ago and believed the money was still there, the paper reported." Proving once again that logic is not within the skill set of a typical bad guy.
Let me help you out. Which way did you come in? |

On the wrong side of the Mobius strip
| I guess the masks didn't protect the one perp from lead poisoning. And the other perp looks none too happy.
