armoredElectrical contact cleaner
My supply of electrical contact cleaner is officially exhausted.
I thought I would ask here for the most current recommendation.
Is there much difference from one brand to another, price or performance?

V-TailIf there's a significant price difference, I look at the ingredients on the can. If memory is correct, they're all pretty much the same and I just choose by cost.

wrightdThat looks very interesting. Would that be a good cleaner to use if you wanted to get an old antique vacuum tube AM Radio working again ? The idea of cleaning, then preventing the galvanic corrosion trash from reconsolidating again, looks useful, esp. for old equipment.
Would this stuff be good in this example ?

armoredI have tried a number of cleaners over the years and really can't say I found one better than another.
I used Deoxit, it worked well but I don't know if it was worth the extra money.
I was hoping that somebody that uses contact cleaner daily could give the inside scoop on what works great and what works just OK, and why.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
