Perhaps it lets him avoid attending Carter's funeral on Thursday?

A few things come to mind. One, that is awesome. Two, Trump did it. Three, is Castro dead?

Even better, why isn't he doing it immediately?
Why announce you're going to resign at a later date?
Do it now you attention seeking piece of commie trash.

From another website: "One person with knowledge of Trudeau's plans told The Globe and Mail that he realizes he needs to make an announcement before he meets with the Liberal caucus to avoid the appearance that he was forced out by the party."

I would not champion the champion, Mr. Gretzky, for a government leadership role. It could influence the typical American voter to consider The Rock, Tom Brady, LeBron James, or Steph Curry for president.

I think I have it right about how the Canadian system works.

The Liberal caucus will meet to elect a new leader. That person will do all they can to keep the Liberal/NDP coalition government alive.

For there to be a Prime Minister Poilievre, the Conservatives need an election with an absolute majority since none of the other parties will form a coalition with them.

You Hoser!

With 68% approval an awful lot of Canadians are saying the same thing and everybody knows how nice Canadians are. The 28% that approve are probably just being nice. That leaves 4%; must be the Inuit.

Yes they did. To show you how bad it is, Nova Scotia actually has a law that forces people to use pronouns when addressing people otherwise you can be prosecuted.

Canada is a hollow shell of what it was when I left. The writing was on the wall, just never thought it sound ever get that bad.
