Carlin has an interesting take on many things.

Sorry I'm late seeing this, but I second Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. My son turned me on to his podcasts and they are excellent. Really more of a lecture series than a podcast.

Some others I liked: The History of Rome and The History of England.
