Need help with 25th anniversary ideas
My wife has been looking forward for some time to doing something big for our 25th wedding anniversary later this month. Big as in 'Hawaii' big, or 'Rhine River boat trip' big. Of course, that's all out the window now, and with just 3 weeks left, were scrambling to find something closer to home to do. Any ideas for a fun 3 or 4 day trip? We've considered just hopping on Amtrak and going to Chicago and back, or doing a guided Jeep adventure in Sedona, AZ, but none of those are quite what we're looking for. We're willing to drive up to 12-14 hours to get wherever we go. Any ideas would be great!

Spend your anniversary day planning your big 25th anniversary trip. Stay with me. Why force a trip this month if it really isn't what you both wanted? Schedule the trip for 2021 and make the anniversary day this year all about appreciating where you've come from and how far you've come as a couple, and begin building the anticipation of the big trip being all you want it to be. It'll be a great trip, even if it's not exactly on your 25th anniversary.
BTW, this is not an original thought. My wife and I took our big 20th anniversary trip a year late, and to this day, it's one of our best vacations ever.
