OK guys, time to call on the SigForum brain trust...

In the photos app, I used to be able to crop photos by dragging the borders. It seems I can no longer do that??

The border no longer moves when I drag.

Any suggestions??

Make sure it’s a saved picture and not a shared picture from someone. If it’s a saved picture then you should be able to click on it and at the top header will be an edit button. Once you click on the edit button you will be able to select the proper crop scale tool at the bottom. The tool looks like the below photo.

Thanks y'all. I learned something about my phone today. I basically use it for phone and texts only but I do have a few pics that I like to play with. Being an I-phone illiterate can be a challenge sometimes.

Here's my contribution:

1) After going to the picture you want to edit, click on Edit on the bottom of the screen.

2) Then click on the icon that is circled in red in the photo below.

3) A new menu shows up on the top of the screen and you click on the icon that the red arrow is pointing to in order to crop the picture. I normally click on the icon on the left to rotate the picture which is my more common need.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
