old rugged crossNew base board heater question
The space is 12x30'. Lower ceiling. The engineering for this small space has a 6' on one side of the room and a 4' opposite of it (12') on the other side of the room.4" walls with R12ish insulation. The heaters are 220v. Average low winter temps mid to high 30's to low 40's. Enough capacity?
Thanks guys.

old rugged crossIt sounds like a 6' and 4' would be 2500 watts and be pretty close to sufficient. Thanks guys.

As I say - "more than a lightbulb - it's beyond me". I replaced my kitchen baseboard once - turned the thermostat off thinking I was good to go to remove wiring........TINGLY !

old rugged crossElectrician say's two 6' instead of an 8' and 4' if I have room as the 8' pop and bang when heating up and cooling down. So a couple of 6'ers it is.
I know there are better ways to heat. But in this building and with the budget this is my best option. So I think it will be good. Thanks guys.
