jljonesWhat is 'due process' for illegal border crossers? The Constitution is a contract.
Man, I love the borderline sovereign citizen logic going on here. What if illegals don’t want to create joinder?
It’s disingenuous to say that this is based on “some police agency” or other nonsense that the MSM is selling. Either you support property owners Rights, or you don’t. You can’t pretend that the magical lefty “due process” lie supports it. And to beat that, it’s racist to assume that immigrants can’t prove they are here legally without full court proceedings. Anyone that buys the whole “due process” lie are no different than those who believe minorities can’t get an ID to vote. An NCIC check will tell you most everything you need to know.
We just choose to support the notion when it suits the belief system we choose to support. Supporting grifters is not noble no matter how we try to rationalize it.
Here’s the best part. Federal agents question them. Yep, they ask them questions. And lying to a federal agents? A 1001 violation, which is a felony. Most know this and own up to being illegal. But, enjoy the MSM “Maryland Man” fairy tales.

Have you not been deprived of liberty and property by being deported? Without your 5th Amendment due process.
What you and, apparently, everyone else here feels is that it is fine to deport a person based simply on the declaration of a police organization (ICE, FBI, my local Sheriff), without the availability of an impartial process for the person to contest deportation.
But you'd be totally against such a notion when it involves literally any other crime whereby the penalty is something other than deportation.
I've said my piece. I'm out.
“What if”, “What if”, “What if”…
Like a 4 year old grasping for extremes. Your scenario is a straw-man argument. Suggesting a course of events that can’t happen to argue against the process in place for events that do.
“What if the sun doesn’t rise tomorrow?” Makes as much sense as your argument.
Name ONE lawful US citizen who was erroneously scooped up and “deported” without confirming status.
Not ones who had a process or hearing and then were deported after having a VISA or status revoked through a court or administrative process (this would be their due process).
But a true “I was wrongly deported to
(insert non-home country here) and I am a US citizen who wasn’t afforded the opportunity to provide info to substantiate my citizenship claim, the govt never determined my identity, doesn’t know who I am but deported me anyway”.
Go ahead and claim the onus on the govt to ”prove” their case. You may disagree or not like it, but if you ARE a citizen or are here legally and they have your identifying info (name, DOB, SSN, etc) and are unable to document your lawful status, they HAVE proven their case. “No record” = GTFO
If your nationality is unknown, where are you being deported to? Absent criminal situations, these folks are being sent back to their home country - going home is not “punishment”. In some cases they may be getting sent back to the country they entered the US from, but again, that was “home” before they started trespassing here. The country they came in from can take it from there if they entered that country illegally or don’t have lawful status to be there.

Won't/can't, Asked that in the other thread with him making the same arguments.
Further, if you do a little google fu, there are remedies in place for anyone claiming deportation is incorrect for that person.
The due process argument is being drummed up to slow the deportation of potential D voters, it hasn't been an issue for hundreds of years.
Millions have been deported by presidents, D and R alike, somehow we're supposed to believe it's suddenly a major violation of Constitutional rights.

nhtagmemberIf you’re here legally your fingerprints are on file.
If you’re not here legally your prints may be on file elsewhere but that won’t help.
I’m an immigrant. I waited my turn, filled out the paperwork, got the medical exams, had the interview and paid my dues. Took 11 years from start to finish. Became a citizen in 2002.
I have zero sympathy for anyone that sneaks in and subverts the process.
The U.S. is my home. I don't like being invaded.

Iow, do the police have the authority to declare a person guilty of a crime and then apply a penalty, without the person having any recourse to dispute his guilt?
Yes. Trespassing. If you're accused of trespassing and can not provide evidence that you're not, the police will physically remove you from the property.
