I heard of not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time but adjusted a mask seems innocent enough. And at 48, it sounds like a freak accident. I can’t see having to stop walking just to adjust a mask or hike up sagging pants. I hope you get fully healed soon. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

As a teenager, I was walking along a sidewalk with some friends and I stepped off the edge. The grass was a good six to nine inches below the concrete and my foot missed it completely. I did a complete flip and landed on my back in the grass. It happened so fast, one minute I was walking, the next I was flat on my back trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Fortunately I was not injured. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Knee injuries suck. Bob Carpe Scrotum
