sig229-SASVegetation killer recipe? Previous post ?
As the title says, I'm in need of vegetation killer recipe. There was one posted maybe 2 years ago (?) that combined 4 or 5 ingredients but a search didn't turn up much.
I have found several online that included salt, vinegar and dish soap but it seems something is missing from the SF post.
Any help would be appreciated....

FN in MTRoundup. They make herbicide that kills only broadleaf weeds....get the TOTAL herbicide that kills everything. You have to read the label as the total killer is not as popular as their other formulas. It works very well.

casYou mean the home made type of water, soap, salt and vinegar (IIRC)?
I tried that on weeds a fews years ago, I was shocked at how fast it started working. Within minutes I could see the leaves changing colors. In a few hours they looked half dead! And then... they never got any deader than that. A couple weeks later they looked fine, you couldn't tell I'd even sprayed them. So close!

Jimbo JonesI use a gallon of vinegar, a cup of salt and a big long squirt of dawn dish soap in a pump up sprayer.
I tried a version with Epsom salts but it clogged up my sprayer.

ensigmatic All vegetation for at least an entire season? I use Ortho GroundClear (Triox).
That's some right scary stuff, though. Some argue it shouldn't even be sold to consumers, who often don't even read the labels, much less understand what they say. Or figure "If a little's good..." That stuff, and other soil sterilants, used incorrectly, can kill trees.
Speaking of which: I think that'll be today's little project: GroundClear the cracks and lines in the driveway.
