I've posted before on how much I like Missouri but here's my latest experience. We had to go back to Kansas City to clean up and make repairs on our rental house. I have never been in a major metropolitan are where I have heard so many "No you go ahead of me", "Let me help you with that", "Good morning", "Have a great day", etc. Hell, even the free way drivers were courteous to us. (Locals tell me that's out of the norm and we were lucky). The neighborhood our house is in had many houses flying old glory. The night before we left we were awakened at 1:00 AM with tornado warnings. We didn't hear of any lives lost (thank goodness) but just property damage. We had branches all over in our yard. All of the neighborhood was cleaning their yards the next morning. We did as much as we could before our flight that night but couldn't finish it up. We asked the family next door who we could hire and they told us not to worry about it, they would do it. They sent us pics this morning of the clean up. WOW! I work remote, and if it weren't for the humidity we would pull up stakes and move there in a heart beat (I know, I'm a whimp). Just thought I would post this to let folks know that things aren't all shitty, there are some really great people in this country.

I swear I had something for this |
Glad you enjoyed yourself. Although on the freeway thing, it's very much dependant on when you're traveling. If it's not Rush Hour, most people are relaxed and chill. In Rush Hour, your mileage may vary.

I should have mentioned we only did rush hour once in KC but the one time wasn't bad. That green flag racin' strikes me as 100% accurate for most cities I've driven in. So true it's funny as hell
