Staring back from the abyss |
With a universe infinite in size (as far as we know), it is the height of arrogance to think that we are the only intelligent beings in it. As far as traveling here and probing buttholes? Who knows? Seems pretty implausible, but consider that just 200 years ago the founding fathers wouldn't have been able to fathom cell phones or SR 71s. We don't know what we don't know. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

Yes, he did. I'm guessing you think you've made a point, but for the life of me, I don't know what it's supposed to be. Since you don't seem to realize it, there is no direct evidence in Aquinas' Prime Mover, so, what exactly is your point? Aquinas said there had to be a First Cause, and that first cause is God. That's pretty much it. There's no direct evidence in his theory.

Most UFO “sightings” are not UFOs. By most I mean a large majority. I know this for a fact. I do not know if that agency is responsible for a directly proportionate percentage of anal probing. 10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

I’d like to think our planet isn’t the only one with life. As others in this thread have wondered I myself have pondered whether this planet could be treated as a nature reserve and more or less left alone by any alien life forms. Mirage Men is a video you can watch for free with commercials on YouTube. It deals with UFOs and alien craft as a form of deception or misinformation. It is long but if you truly find the subject of UFOs and aliens interesting it is worth watching as it might change your perspective on unknown aerial phenomenon as UFOs are now called. If you can convince some people that aliens are flying around then they are less likely to connect the dots to what you are actually doing such as testing out a new top secret classified aircraft or weapon system. Even if you destroy lives and make a few people go crazy by encouraging their search for aliens misinformation does serve a purpose and has been used in the past to protect projects. If anything the video below has only made me more skeptical about the government suddenly wanting to talk about ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

Elon Musk pretty much disproved the existance of Aliens visiting our planet for me. He pointed out that if the US Dept of Defense had proof these things are real they would have done so long ago, if only to stoke fear and raise the Defense budget to absurd heights. Can you imagine them pulling out bodies and spacecraft, then saying “These are real and we need to prepare NOW! Gimme 5 trillion or else.” Done… "I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I require the same from them." - John Wayne in "The Shootist"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascagoula_Abduction These guys recently died. No credibilty with the thinking public. The Pascagoula Abduction was an alleged UFO sighting and alien abduction in 1973, in which Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker claimed they were abducted by aliens while fishing near Pascagoula, Mississippi. Map showing coastal route US 90, connecting Pascagoula with Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Alleged abduction On the evening of October 11, 1973, 42-year-old Charles Hickson and 19-year-old Calvin Parker told the Jackson County, Mississippi Sheriff's office they were fishing off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they heard a whirring/whizzing sound, saw two flashing blue lights, and observed an oval shaped object 30–40 feet across and 8–10 feet high. Parker and Hickson claimed they were "conscious but paralyzed" while three "creatures" with "robotic slit-mouths" and "crab-like pincers" took them aboard the object and subjected them to an examination.[2][3] Publicity and later activities Following the incident, Hickson gave interviews and lectures, appeared on television (including an episode of the game show To Tell The Truth),[4] in 1974 claimed additional encounters with aliens, and in 1983 authored a self-published book UFO Contact at Pascagoula.[5] Parker later attended UFO conventions, and in 1993 started a company called "UFO Investigations" to produce television stories about UFOs.[2][6] Skepticism Aviation journalist and UFO skeptic Philip J. Klass found "discrepancies" in Hickson's story, noted that Hickson refused to take a polygraph exam conducted by an experienced examiner, and concluded that the case was a hoax. Skeptical investigator Joe Nickell wrote that Hickson's behavior was "questionable" and that Hickson later altered or embellished his claims. Nickell speculated that Hickson may have fantasized the alien encounter during a hypnagogic "waking dream state", and suggested that Parker's corroboration of the tale was likely due to suggestibility because he initially told police he had "passed out at the beginning of the incident and failed to regain consciousness until it was over",[5][6] a claim supported by Hickson during his To Tell the Truth appearance.
