goose5That is a man made kayak course that's a two-minute walk away from where I work. I've never seen anyone surf it.
The structure in the background is a levy built after a big flood in 1921. That levy altered the course of the Arkansas River. They let anyone paint whatever on it. Some of it was cool, but some of it was no better than graffiti.
