Does not show in apps list nor can I find "ALL apps" or "show system apps" selections.
Anybody have this figured out?

This "daily briefing" comes up when ever you wake the phone up. You can swipe to the left or click on an X to get rid of it until the next time you wake the phone up.
Just plain irritating.

There of course may be other apps that give daily briefings, but if your wife is using the "Google News" app, that has a daily briefing feature that can be turned off in its settings.

I don't use the app so can't speak from experience, but if that's what you're seeing here's a link to Google News Android app help .

Personally, I turn the entire personal data intelligence off. I don't need the phone to know more about me than I do. But if it's on, you can disable notifications.

That's one that's a little hidden. More than one app can be set for briefings. Google/Samsung news may be the culprits.

Try doing a search in settings for "personal data intelligence"

Might also be a home screen page. Press and hold on blank spot home screen. When screen reduces, swipe left and right to see if there's anything on adjacent page. Turn it off if there is.

One more thing...if you have a media page (news) when you check adjacent pages to home page, you need to turn that off in settings.
