Proof actors are not real people
I actually found proof this morning that actors are not real people. It was on TV so it must be true! I grabbed this screen shot. Big Grin

My favorites are the disclaimers on car commercials where the car is driving on a road, doing the speed limit, and behaving in a safe manner (No high speed turns or splashing water). "Professional Driver. Do not attempt on your own" Attempt what? Drive in a straight line and come to complete stops at re lights?

I can believe that. Have you not seen the stickers on power lawnmowers that say, "Do not use this as a hedge trimmer."

The stupidity of people knows no bounds. To you what you see is "drive in a straight line and come to complete stops at red light." You and I lack the imagination that imbeciles have that can make them see as take aways from the commercial.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Everyone of those stickers is the result of someone trying it. I see this one pop up every now and then.

There is no doubt in my mind that most actors are so totally disconnected from reality that they have absolutely no concept of what happens in the day to day lives of their "fans".

I recently saw an article on some young female actress who was complaining about how difficult it is to be a working mom. I am sure that all of the rest of the working mom's in society who are juggling 2 jobs, and kids, and errands/houskeeping/school responsibilities etc can identify the horrors that she faced arranging her drivers, nanny's, personal chef, houskeepers, etc....
