Sitting on the sofa watching TV and looking out the double doors that lead to the back deck I was watching the sunset change with my wife and young son (10 years old).

I had to grab my camera, and didn't have time to change many settings to get this image of tonight's sunset. This is looking NW toward the Columbia River in Boardman, OR

That’s pretty fantastic.

Didn’t you shoot a photo from a similar point when the fires were raging?

I did, that photo of the fires was four miles due north. this is facing west north west.
