Came across this on the Book of Faces last night. I laughed for a good 5 minutes, then ordered it. I do love a clever mash-up.

That's excellent.

It raises the question however, would today's younger generation get it? Is "WWF" still synonymous with wrestling?

I showed a younger coworker (32) and she didn't get it. She knew the pro wrestling as "WWE".

To be fair though, another coworker, around my age (52), and he was like "I think there is some sort of wildlife organization that is close to WWF".

Only a select crowd is gonna get it. Sort of like my "Krasnovia Veteran" t-shirt. Big Grin

At first glance, I thought the pandas formed a hand giving the middle finger and the letters were WTF.

I didn't get it, but I don't think I'd seen Word Wildlife Fund's logo for decades:

I got it right away Smile (but I’m an old fart)... that being said...I would be surprised if today’s generation would recognize a folding metal chair Big Grin

I remember very well the whole lawsuit that led to the WWF having to change its name to WWE. It just never looked or sounded right to me. I've always kind of resented the World Wildlife Fund for that whole thing.

Ah, I guess I partially got it. I am old enough to remember WWF, but I thought it had something to do with "PANDEMONIUM" (One of their favorite words).

I'm only 32 and I knew of WWF wrestling... The joke made me laugh right away. I, also, remember the lawsuit vaguely. I remember as a kid my mom had a WWF panda magnet on the fridge and I thought it was cool because WWF wrestling. I had no idea what it was though.
