Modern women are clueless. They prance around their independence, as if being a "Boss Bitch" is somehow attractive. The fact that a woman is independent and successful doesn't mean anything to a man. Women, in totality, do not share their resources with their partners. If a woman is successful, particularly more financially successful than her man, she will think lesser of him, and will often use her greater success as an excuse to cheat on him with a higher status male. This is why traditional men do not seek out high earning females as wives. No man brags to other men about how much money his wife makes. Doing so would be like bragging about how well your little dick fits in your panties.

I simply find it amusing that women parade their success around like it matters. A woman who can successfully manage my children and household is way more attractive than one who is a bitch in a boardroom.

I'm glad you escaped. There is nothing to be gained by staying with a woman like that.

I met this gal once, over at dad's house. She was there with two of her friends and hoo boy, what a think-tank they make. Brookings Institution, watch out! Out of Africa was on TV and it was the part where Robert Redford was agreeing to move in with Meryl Streep and that beautiful line she utters: "When the gods want to punish you, they give you what you want." One of this gal's two friends looked up from her nonstop scrolling on her phone and said "Oh, that's so stupid. What does that mean?" almost angry, it seemed, and I'm thinking "Jesus, freakin' vipers." No happiness, no clues, just dangerous things in the bushes...

It was all very enlightening to me, seeing what's going on out there right now. And now I hear Ms. Firm Tits No More got laid off from her job in HR. She used to do resume investigation, but now AI will do her job. Meanwhile, the carpenter she looked down on is looking to buy his first home.

This is what happens when society moves away from the nuclear family, traditional gender roles, marriage, and women who understand that partnerships are vital.
